Storm Babet and the flooding that ensued caused devastation to a number of properties and businesses in our parish.
The effects will continue to be felt for some time while insurance/welfare documents are being processed and people rebuild their lived.
In an effort to alleviate some of the distress being felt by our affected parishioners, the Debenham Parish Council has set up an Emergency Fund, which people can donate to and apply for.
In this season of goodwill, if you are able to support out initiative and can spare a donation, you can do so by:
Writing a cheque to the 'Debenham Parish Council' with a note on the back stating 'Emergency Fund' which can be posted to the Clerk or delivered to any of our Councillors;
or by making a direct bank payment to 'Debenham Parish Council' reference ' EMERGENCY FUND' Barclays sort code 201735 and account number 53778037
Applicants for the Emergency Fund should contact the Parish Clerk for an application form.
Any donation is gratefully received.
