Road repairs are scheduled to be undertaken by Suffolk Highways between 28 October and 1 November.

New Road, Aspall – Road Repairs – October / November 2019 We will be carrying out road repairs along the entire length of New Road, Aspall.

This is necessary to improve the existing road surface and prepare for surface dressing taking place at a later date.

The works are planned to take place in the period between 28th October and 1 st November 2019, during the hours of 7am and 4.30pm.

The times and dates of works may change depending on the weather conditions. If they do change, we will let you know by updating the information signs on site.

Once works are in progress the full length of the road will be temporarily closed to through traffic.

Access to properties and businesses will be available but controlled by staff on site. Please speak to one of our staff who will provide access as soon as it is safe to do so.

During the period of the closure, traffic will be diverted via: New Road, Little London Hill, Derry Brook Lane, B1077 and vice-versa. On street parking will be restricted to allow the repairs to be carried out unobstructed. Access for emergency services will be maintained at all times. These temporary traffic management measures are required to allow the works to be carried out safely and in accordance with current health and safety guidelines.
